The Elgin Marbles at the British Museum. Torn between feeling bad about what the British plundered around the world (and it appears all to be in the British Museum) and feeling glad about what they saved.

Re: the Elgin Marbles - I feel the same way about the Aphaia Marbles, originally from a temple on the Greek island Aegina (on which I spent much of my childhood), now on display at the Glyptothek in Munich - glad that they were preserved, sad that they're not in their rightful "home"...
