Not in New York

Here's something I never saw at the Union Square Green Market in New York (which isn't to say that this doesn't exist in New York): dead ducks and rabbits hanging out by the pedestrian traffic (this is at Borough Market):



In another surprise, almost as astounding, I discovered a bottle of Robert Mondavi's sauvignon blanc botrytis (at Whole Foods). This dessert wine was one of the first (maybe the first?) interesting wine discoveries that Dan and I made while living in San Francisco, and so we were always looking for it in New York (where it can't be found). We bought a bottle to celebrate our anniversary. (Happy Anniversary!)
